Of course, you do, as we know we are to be a light to the world!* ABF wants to help equip you to share your faith and to do that we are committed to supporting you in a few ways. Firstly, we want to educate you on all of the resources that we have available to be extended outward, through you, so that your friend, relative, or person you are reaching out to has as many tools available to them. We are hoping this will be an easy step-by-step guide to help you as you reach out.
*Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
James 5:19 “My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back from wandering will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins.”
WHAT DO THEY SAY ABOUT GOD?
The first thing you should know is who you are speaking to. Are they a believer who just isn’t well connected to a church, doctrine, or Scripture or a non-believer who doesn’t claim God at all? Below are guides to both scenarios.
