Our Theology

Core Doctrinal Beliefs

Jesus Christ

In His manifestation, Jesus is both fully human and fully God.

The Trinity

God presents Himself through Trinitarian concepts: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – harmonious in a polity of three unique identities.

The Bible

The Holy Scriptures are self-evident, self-sustaining, sovereign, and divinely inspired. They are infallible in their presentation of the original intended meaning.

All sources for defining Truth must agree with the Holy Scriptures, which are complete for the accurate transmission of God’s revelation.

Sin & The State of Man

Sin is “missing the mark.” After Eden, humans are inherently sinners. Escape is impossible by human merit. The effect of sin is pervasive, extending to relationship, action, and emotional wellness.

God’s focus is not on sin, but rather on grace and the productive outworking of His economy through faith in Christ.

Salvation

Salvation is an unmerited gift, provided by the work of Jesus Christ alone, who defeated Death by rising from His sealed tomb.

Baptism

Baptism by immersion is a necessary event in our spiritual life and a key point in our spiritual health.
